What we will offer

The talent development programme is designed to fit the needs of our researchers in every phase of their scientific career. We offer tailor-made support within the two components of our talent programme.

The academy consists of 3 elements:

Courses and Workshops - tailored to regenerative science, interdisciplinary thinking, and professional skills.
Mentorship Programme - Get guidance from senior researchers who support your growth - scientifically and personally.
Secondments - Take your research abroad

For who

For DRIVE-RM funded PhD’s and Postdoctoral Researchers. Workshops and trainings might be open broader, to early- and mid-career researchers working at affiliated partners institutes.

Courses and Workshops

The courses and workshops within our academy complement the existing educational activities already offered within the partner institutions, addressing topics that extend beyond current curricula.

Bridge science and society by integrating societal, ethical, legal, and HTA perspectives into research and innovation.
Foster strong and innovative collaborations that encourage unconventional partnerships and knowledge exchange.

Empower reflective researchers who actively contribute to a fair and inclusive research environment.

At least twice a year, the Talent Development Academy organizes meetings or workshops. The content of these meetings varies annually and is shaped by the needs and interests of the participating researchers.

Mentorship Programme

To make the best use of the available knowledge, experience and networks within DRIVE-RM, we offer the DRIVE-RM mentorship program. The programme is designed to support the personal and professional development of researchers by connecting them with experienced mentors.

Our aims

Encourage meaningful exchange with experienced researchers.
Broaden perspectives and support talent development.
Strengthen professional networks and career development.

The format is flexible and tailored by mentor and mentee, covering topics such as multidisciplinary research, career development, work–life balance, presentations, and grant applications.

Secondments

All DRIVE-RM–funded PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers are eligible to participate in our International Exchange programme. We provide funding for research visits to (inter)national centres of excellence or laboratories offering infrastructure, equipment, or expertise not available within the consortium.

Incentive Programme

DRIVE-RM Incentive Programme

Apply for internal support to explore new ideas, kickstart collaborations, or co-fund research visits.
We provide additional opportunities for (international) scientific exchange, skills development, and access to facilities and technologies that may not be available at researchers’ home institutions.

Through this incentive programme, we support creative and innovative ideas with the potential to strengthen our consortium, enhance the sustainability of our research, increase scientific and societal impact, and foster long-lasting (international) collaborations.

For who

The Incentive Programme is open to all PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers within the DRIVE-RM programme, as well as to early- and mid-career researchers affiliated with the partner institutions.

Our aims

Support young researchers affiliated with partner institutes in advancing their careers and establishing international collaborations.
Bring new knowledge and expertise from outside the consortium into DRIVE-RM.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-fertilisation within the DRIVE-RM network.
Strengthen the national and international DRIVE-RM research network.
Advance research in Regenerative Medicine by integrating and amplifying expertise and insights.

Incentives for International Exchange

Funding to support research visits to centres of excellence or laboratories that provide infrastructure, equipment, or expertise not available within the consortium.

Visiting Scholar Incentives

Funding for research visits by internationally recognised, world-leading scientists to one of the DRIVE-RM research institutes.

Workshop Incentives

Support for activities that bring researchers together to synthesise existing knowledge, address emerging scientific challenges, and/or produce state-of-the-art scientific outputs for submission to leading journals.
